Summary Illustrator with skills in both traditional and digital media. Working knowledge in motion graphics. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Successful in both advertising and editorial illustration. Accomplishments Time Magazine Cover 2004 Selected a "Person of the Year" to feature in a Time Magazine cover. Sketched out different possibilities, then digitally illustrated person. Found a template for the Time Magazine cover and incorporated portrait and type using Illustrator. Mascot 2006 Created a mascot for an already established company to help sell their product, through character sketches and exploration of different solutions. Utilized this mascot into a print advertisment using an illustration and type. 2-Page Cartoon 2006 Created a multiple paged cartoon with a running storyline. Sketched out panel layouts and various characters to be used for comic. Drew up the final outlines, then inked. Digitally colored images, and fixed panels. Self Portrait Icon 2007 Illustrated a self portrait to resemble an icon. Researched historical icons for examples, then explored different possibilities through thumbnails and roughs. Incorporated another subject to help descripe personality of person. Racetrack Storyboard 2007 Created a sequenced storyboard based on transcript for a racetrack TV commercial. Used ten panels to tell the story, using different angles and camera directions to help director realize their ideas.
